A private family graveside service was held at Pine Grove Cemetery in Sweet Home, Arkansas and a celebration of Kathy's life will be held at the Garden at the Vines 4-H Center in Ferndale on October 14, 2023 from 1:30 - 3:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers,memorials may be made to Arkansas 4H Foundation, 1 Four H Way, Little Rock, Arkansas 72223.

Moments after his passing, it began to rain, our sign that he was walking the mountains of Wyoming or marshes of Louisiana binoculars in hand, his favorite dog, Kate, by his side, and a copy of A Sand County Almanac under arm. He will be remembered by family and friends in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the National Audubon Society are welcomed.
