Biography: Wilma Glasco White, died on Friday, March 11, 2011. She was born December 10, 1912 to the late Walter Emery and Mamie Lee Hamilton Glasco. Her husband, Lewis Edwin White predeceased her. She was a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. Survivors include sister, Edna Jones, Lumberton, NJ; brother, Rex Glasco (Bonnie), Phoenix, AZ as well as many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. The family wishes to thank Dr. Robert Henry for his care and caregivers, Millie and Joyce as well as Odyssey Hospice. I was heartbroken to hear Wilma had passed away. Wilma was my neighbor in Little Rock...even when we sold our house, as my mother had to move to Dallas for health reasons, I always knew thatwhen I came back I could always see Wilma and feel like I was still part of the neighborhood. Our whole family will miss Wilma terribly, however, my mother and Wilma were like sisters, always running from house to house at any time day or night to finish a sewing project or recipe or whatever...Wilma was quite a lady, one that will never be forgotten!

Dear Friends,
I am sorry to learn of Wilma's passing. The last time I saw her was at the restaurant Trio's, with my aunt, Faye Gateley Davis. We so enjoyed having lunch all together. You may not know this but she was my third and fourth grade teacher, of course, these grades were combined in the same room. I would love to hear from any of her family and I can be contacted through this email address which is my daughter's.
