Dr. Walt was my surgery professon as a medical student at UAMS. He also was a mentor as a resident at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
He was very helpful to me as a resident, instructing in surgical technique and patient evaluation. His dedication to excellence is appreciated very much.
I am a retired orthopaedic surgeon and appreciate the time and effort that people like Dr.Walt took to help with learning and service to those with less experience.

Dr. Walt was truly an amazing man. He and my mother, Alline Strack worked together for a long time. He was very good doctor, who took time to visit with each patient and very concerned about their problems. He will be missed greatly. I know my Mom and I have many fond memories of Dr. Walt.

Dr. Walt touched our lives when our youngest daughter, Jennifer, was just 2 weeks old. He operated on her 4 times in the following 18 months. We saw him every week during that time. He was a wonderful doctor and surgeon. He beame a very special person to us. We thank God for bringing him into our lives. Jennifer is now 28 years old, thanks to Dr. Walt's skilled hands. Our deepest sympathy to his family.
