Stacey and family: I'm a Harrison Class of '59 friend of your Dad. Rodney invited me to join DeMolay in high school, and he was the main reason I pledged Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity at the UofA. He had also been a member of my Masonic Lodge(Pulaski Heights Lodge). He was a good man, and he will be missed.

Dear Barbara, We never had a chance to get to know each other very well, but Rodney was a very close friend and neighbor growing up in Harrison. We were Frat brothers at the Pike house later but never spent much time together after college. He was a wonderful person and will be missed by tons of friends. I am very sorry for you and your family"s loss. You will all be our thoughts and prayers. Friend, Tommy Rogers

Ms. Shaddox: Although I do not know you, I was one of his Brothers at Fayetteville. I was two years ahead of him. Based on my two and one half years knowing him, he was a first class man and person. You and your children were lucky to have had him so long. I wish you and the kids the best in the future.

What can I say that I haven't already said. Rodney was like a father to me. I spent so many weekends at your house that I felt like I was the fourth daughter, and was treated like one. I will miss him so much. I know that he's in heaven looking down on each of his wife, daughters and his beautiful grandchildren. He'll forever be in my heart.
