Biography: Billy W. Mize, 73, of Little Rock, passed away, Wednesday, January 19, 2011 after a long illness with his loving family by his side. The youngest of nine children, he was born July 25, 1937, in Mounds, Illinois to the late Jesse and Edith Simmons Mize. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Jessie Mize and Orval Mize and sisters, Mary Larrison, Freda Wilburn, Lillian Bagby and Maybelle Wilson. Billy owned and operated ABLE Lift Truck Service Co. in Little Rock for years. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and was a member of the VFW Post 9095.. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna Mize of Little Rock; children, Teresa Evans and husband, Randy of Little Rock, Shelley Kroencke and husband, Lee of Lenexa, Kansas, Stephen Mize of Little Rock and Angela Pyle and husband, Tim of North Little Rock; grandchildren, John B. Hobbs, U.S. Navy, Kerry Evans of Little Rock and Landon Davidson of Fayetteville; brother, William B. Mize of South Bend, Indiana; sister, Erma Essex and husband, Colby of Villa Ridge, Illinois and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Baptist Home Health Care nurses, the doctors, nurses and staff at Arkansas Hospice and Arkansas Hematology & Oncology for all of their care and concern during Billy?s illness. A very special thank you to all the friends for the support, he loved all. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 24, 2011 at Ruebel Funeral Home. Uncle Billy, I sure miss talking to you on the phone, I know that you ,mom, and Aunt Erma are together with Gma and Gpa mize and the rest ,I will see you all again one day and we will not be held apart from each other never again.until then,I miss you and I love you.RIP Uncle Billy.

Donna & family: I am so sorry for your loss. I also lost my husband a year ago after 45 years. I hope you remember me. You stood up for Harold and I years ago (4/27/57). I'm sorry we lost touch.
