Biography: William ?Bill? Christopher Throop, 47, died December 22, 2010 in Little Rock, Arkansas, with his wife and best friend, Wynne Dee, by his side. Bill was born February 5, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late William Moore and Nancy Boyle Throop, and grew up in the Chicago and Milwaukee areas. In Chicago, he became a lifelong Blackhawks fan and loved playing junior hockey. Bill kept his enthusiasm for the sport after college by playing hockey in an adult league in Little Rock. Leading the Muskego golf team, Bill was the gold medalist in the Parkland Conference Golf Meet in 1980 and later graduated from Muskego High School in 1981. He was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs. After high school, Bill attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1985. Later in 1992, he earned his MBA from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. Bill was an avid golfer and was a member of the Chenal Country Club with his wife. His passion allowed him to travel from St. Croix in the Virgin Islands to Hawaii and many places in-between, playing on some of the world?s most prestigious golf courses. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Little Rock. An entrepreneur and gifted businessman, Bill founded and owned CIMSYS, Inc., a business specializing in manufacturing and accounting software. At the time of his death, Bill was an Executive Vice President of Curtis H. Stout, Inc. in Little Rock. Bill is survived by his wife, Wynne Dee, and their son, Jason; his grandchildren Alistair and Dylan; his sisters Nancy Fronczak, Janet Gonzalez, Linda Castiglione, and Carol Striegler; six nieces and three nephews; and a large extended family. The memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral on Wednesday, December 29 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The First Tee of Central Arkansas, Jack Stephens Youth Golf Academy, #1 First Tee Way, Little Rock, Arkansas, for a scholarship in his name. I am a bit shocked, I just heard the news. I knew Bill from my days in Maumelle, AR. I have great memories of him. Bill and I played a lot of golf together. He caddied for me at the Arkansas State Amatuer at Chenal one year. What a friend, because he and I both knew I had no chance of winning. Bill was a great guy and a lot of fun to be with.

I am so sorry for your loss.

I met Throop (Chris as I knew him) as a freshman in college, introduced him to his wife and was best man in his wedding. Chris had a passion for golf, a desire to succeed, and an everlasting Love for his wife and family. I had the opportunity to live out a life long dream of attending a Cubs game with Throop just a couple of years ago. My thoughts and Prayers go out to Wynne Dee, Jason and the rest of the family. I will always value our friendship and remember his smile. Well played Chris Throop, Bravo!

Dear Wynne Dee,
I am so sorry to hear of the death of Chris. Chris was such a wonderful person. He kept those Throop girls in line and always made us laugh. I remember when he surprised his mother and my mother with an upgrade to 1st class when they were flying across country. It meant so much for those sisters to be treated like royalty. But that was what Chris was all about- thinking of others and putting their needs before his own. While there was a 12 year age difference between us, I always felt very close to Chris. You, Jason, and the grandkids will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Wynn Dee,
Chris was a dear friend. I'm so sorry for your loss. My condolences to Jason his grandchildren and to his sisters. I can only imagine how great he must have been as a grandfather! Unfortunately we went our separate paths after college. As I mentioned to you our old gang, the Rubber Knife Gang, will be getting together the night of his wake in Muskego...you can be sure that you'll all be on our minds and we'll raise a glass or two in his honor.

All my love & Gods Blessings to you,
Barry
