Kay:Please be aware that you are much in my thoughts and prayers. I remember Dolly just a little bit as a beautiful young woman; but my fondest memories of her are after we had both become old. She called me one Saturday afternoon out of the blue. Had gotten my phone number from Shirley. We renewed acquaintence that day. After that, we would talk several times a year--one or the other of us calling. I cherish the memories of those conversations. Of course, after she went into the assisted living, they stopped. She was a lovely person. My love and sympathy to you and all of your family.
Fondly,

Dearest family,

We close a common chapter this year. While our hearts ache for your loss, we also rejoice that Dolly's reunited with the loved ones who have gone before her. The story of Mom & Dad's meeting and Dolly's role is precious to my family. We pray for peace in your heart.

Dear Jerry and Kay,
When I opened the newspaper yesterday and glanced at the obits, there was sweet Miss Dolly smiling at me. I would recognize her any day and can still hear her laughter. I think of all the times I saw her in Carter's store and at your house. A very sweet lady indeed. I know she will be missed. Heaven just got a bit brighter.

Love,
Linda

Charlie and I send you our love and deepest sympathy. I remember so vividly growing up on South 9th St. with you and all the other wonderful people who lived there. Your Mother was a delightful woman, and I thought she was so pretty and fun. We'll be thinking of you and your family.
