I went to Ballard High School with David and reconnected with him on Facebook. He always had a ready smile and could always make me laugh. We both had a soft spot for cats and emailed about the adventures of our kitties.

David has made his transition and he will be missed.

To David's Family,
I was very saddened to hear of your loss. David was one of the nicest people I have ever met and was always willing to help. He was a friendly and smiling face whether you met him in the hallway or on the unit. He has been my "go to" person for many years when I had questions about stem cells. He will be greatly missed by many.

May God comfort you during this difficult time,

Elizabeth, David was outstanding in his work and as a person. Much of that is the result of your dedication and life skills that you taught him.I know you have many friends to help you through this difficult time but remember you have a work "family" that loves you and will do anything for you. God will walk with you.

Elizabeth, so sorry to hear about David. Anyone with a smile like that had to be a "super individual..." I know 40 years is a short period of time to have some one to love, but one thing to look forward to is, we are told there will be a "next meeting..." and it will last a lot longer than 40 years.....Deepest sympathies to you and your family in this time of sorrow...
