Biography: Kathryn (Kaye) Freygang Eisele, died Wednesday morning, October 27, after suffering a servere stroke the evening before. She was born in New York City on September 23, 1925, the first child of the late Charles and Kathryn Freygang. The family moved to Winchester, Massachusetts when Kay was 13 years old. She met her future husband to be Garnett Thomas (Tom) Eisele while he was a student at Harvard Law School. They married in 1950 and moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas where Tom joined his grandfather’s law firm, Martin, Wooten and Martin. They then moved to Little Rock, where Tom accepted a position in the Eisenhower Administration as an Assistant U. S. Attorney. They made Little Rock their home ever since. Kaye was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. Kaye and Tom have four children, Wendell Alan (Sandy) Eisele, Garnett Martin (Gar) Eisele, II, Kathryn Martin Eisele, and Jean Elizabeth King; eight grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
