I am a customer of the bank Sharlette worked at. Everytime I went in to see her,she greeted me w/a hug and a smile. That's exactly what I left with, too. I will dearly miss those hugs and smiles. She always asked about my kids and my husband. I just thought that was soo sweet of her to always take that time to do that. I am going to miss her very much. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to her family, friends and co-workers. My life was and is so blessed to have known her.

Tom and Family,

I was so very sorry to hear about the loss of your sweet Sharlett. I would usually see Shartlett through work functions, but we always took a minute to hug and catch up on one another's families. It was easy to see that as committed as she was to her work and her causes, her family was the light of her life. I pray for peace and comfort for all of you.

Sharlett was my my big boss when I worked for Danny Thomas Management at Le Marquis Apartments. She was just the best...a great fun person and an even better boss. She would supervise and direct you and it didn't even fell like it, it just felt like a friend helping a friend. I still have a letter at home that Sharlett wrote commending me on a large leasing event at the apartments, she was leaving DT and wanted to be sure i had the letter for future reference. I will always remember one morning when she had a manager's meeting at her condo, mimosas and breakfast and the discussion of this special TREE that she had brought in and was going to plant. I was so surprised to read of her passing on Facebook. I hope her illness didn't wear on her and take her spirit. Prayers and well wishes are with her family.

Sharlett was so much fun to be with and I love remembering the sound of her laughter. She was always the first to smile or laugh at Tom's goofy musings and give away his "fibs." She was generous with her time and love. Tom and family, I know the hurt and silence are overwhelming, but keep doing those things that Sharlett taught you and she'll always be here with you. Peace and Love

My thoughts go out to you. Tom and your family! I will miss Sharlett more than I can express. I always looked forward to the days we had to sit and talk and my life will be forever changed. Sharlett always put others first and she touched everyone that knew her. She was one of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever known. I am so glad I got to visit with her last week. Little did I know when I said good bye it would be just that. As long as we shall live so shall Sharlett because we will hold her close in our minds and in our hearts. Ever since I was a small child I always believed that when someone passes an angel gets a name and a face- what a sweet caring face that angel now has. I will miss you and never forget Sharlett! Much Love, David

I loved you more than you will ever know.
You helped me through every obstacle of my life. Even if they weren't tough obstacles, you still made sure i was fully supplied with things to entertain me, help me, comfort me etc. and you usually gave me way more than enough to go by.
You were always nothing but positive about every situation.
I loved how proud i always made you. and you gave me so much courage to do so much. You've helped mold me into who i am.
and were very much like a third parent to me, brooks & chan.
I realized that everything will be different from now on.
but it will be okay.

I'm glad that i was lucky enough to sit down with you before you passed on. To in a way say our goodbyes.

You will always be missed,
but atleast you're with doofus again : )

Sharlett, all these 30+ years I have loved you as a friend and admired your talents. You were on my mind this week and I thought I must buy a birthday card for you! Tom, I cannot imagine your loss and pain. Cathe remember when Sharlett and I picked you up at the airport all those years ago and she had her swimsuit on under her raincoat--she was so proud of all the weight she had lost! Plus the laughs from all the wineries we visited. I cannot believe that she is dead. I feel so much for all of you and love her for all the advice and laughs she gave me.

Tom,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this tough time.
I will always remember how you and Sharlot gave me and my dad and brother a since of belonging after the death of my mother.
Sharlot would always invite us over for the big Holiday meals knowing that we had no other family around to share the holidays with. Sharlet was the first to call and give her love and assistance after the death of my brother.
Sharlet was truly an Angel to me and my family and she will be missed. I can have peace knowing Sharlet is having good times now being hooked-up with my mom and brother.
May god give you peace and comfort to get you through this toughest of times. Sincerely, Pete Caffey & family

I met Sharlette many years ago when I first came to work for the City of Little Rock and we fast became good friends over the years and while we may not have seen each other for extended periods when we did meet we would hug and get caught up on everything, more often then not at at the Vet's Office.
