I am the retired Catholic Bishop of Little Rock. Our Cathedral of St. Andrew is only a block from your Mother's store. I passed your Mother's store every day on my way to my office. I even bought some suits there. I can't help but smile when I recall her classic ad, "I dress all the best-dressed men". May your dear Mother rest in peace! Your friend, Andrew J. McDonald, Bishop Emeritus/Chaplain

Ms. Horn use to watch after me when my dad worked for Horn's. She was such a sweet lady! She use to call me Brandi Mae. I'll pray for your family and wish the best for all of you. Ms. Horn will be missed and the phrase "all the best dressed men" will always ring in my ears when i look back on the times that we spent with Ms. Mae Horn.

Dear Mrs. Nancy,
This saddens me to hear about Mrs. Mae's passing. She was such a wonderful woman and i admired her so much. When i was younger and went and stayed with my Aunt Joan, I would run down to Mrs. Mae's house and visit her for hours on the back porch or kitchen table and play with her dogs and she would always tell me about her life and she always talked about her family also. I loved her so much I wrote a school paper about her when i was younger. She will be truelly missed by so many people and I will always have her in my heart. Now all the men upstairs will be the best dressed men :)

Please accept my sincere condolences in the passing of "Ma Mae". I most admired her great sense of humor. I only knew her in the early 70's (40 years ago), but I never forgot her! What a wonderful lady, and you were very lucky to have had her as your mother. Nancy, please send me an email... I'd love to get together for lunch.
Fondly,
Karen

Dear Nancy and Family --

How blessed you have been to have had such a vibrant, inspiring woman in your lives as your Mother - 'MAE HORN!' She was both tender-hearted and aggressive, full of the-fun-of-life as well as a gentle soul; in short - she was 'the best of what ever was needed' no matter which way she turned! Your clan will surely be at a loss without this marvelous Mother at the core-of-your-world. Arkansas will miss such a grand 'n good businesswoman as well as a precious lady. (No doubt '...all the best dressed Angels' will be donning new robes in Paradise! )We extend to you our sincere condolences.
