To Charlie's Family,
I had the privilege of knowing Charlie during his many years at Crow-Burlingame.I worked with Charlie at the Executive Office and was so glad that I knew him. He was a sweet man and he will be missed. I know him and Irene are together now, and I know that is what he wanted.

What I remember most about Aunt Irene and Uncle Charlie is the love they had for each other. I can see them holding hands even now.

Charlie and Irene were such a wonderful couple and I will never forget their love of each other, Razorback football, and their propensity to dress alike and hold hands - even after 66 years!

They were such a blessing to me over the years and I am thankful to have known them both. I am happy though that they are together for eternity with each other and the Lord they loved so.

In Irene's poem "Peace" when she and Charlie went
for a long walk hand in hand, it was so peaceful
we didn't need to talk..it was dusky dark and the cool breeze was a great treat ...no one around for miles, just me and my guy" How true this has been for 66 years..and now they are back together again!

Thanking God for your loved one's life...and thinking of you during this difficult time.
