Alvin and Tracy,

I have such warm memories of times spent in the Weintraub homes on McKinley and Shamrock Drive where there was always a diverse learning experience taking place - - perhaps a foreign exchange student, a Catholic priest or a Rabbi for dinner and intellectual exchanges.

I loved your mother, who was FiFi to me; she was always warm, receptive and loving to all of Cynthia's friends and had such a positive impact on all of our lives. My life has been enriched by the Weintraub family and I consider each of you a blessing in my life.

Alvin and Tracy - you and your families are in my thoughts - there was no one better than Aunt Mildred and I often think of all the great times the Weintraubs and Headstreams had. Those were wonderful days! Take care and I hope to see you all soon.

Dear family of Mildred Weintraub:
We were so very sorry to read of the death of Mildred this morning. Although we were not close to her, I (Carolyn) worked with Allen at Central Surgical Company in 1947-48. He became a dear friend, and when I needed to work late, he would take me to his home and Mildred would serve dinner. Since my father was deceased & I had no brothers or close male relatives, Allen gave me away at my wedding to Robert. We remained close friends, although our paths took different directions. Such warm thoughts come to mind when we think of him and Mildred. May the God of all comfort be a comfort to you at this time.
