Our family feels a genuine sense of personal loss of our next door neighbor. My best memories of Mr. Stinson are him pulling for Alabama, golfing in his front yard, and shaking his head at the rowdy boys next door. Thank you, Stinson family, for your decency, your charm, and your just being there year after year.

I am so grateful for the few days I spent with Handy and his family a few weeks ago. Our friendship
lasted for 3/4 of a century and we never tired of comparing notes, talking about old times, football games or just talking. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family.

Handy was a great blessing to this community. We are so thankful for his faithful service to his country, for sixty two years of faithful marriage to Gene, for his devoted parenting, and for his witness of faithful living before the Lord. Jonell and I will miss his warm smile, his patient prayers, and his presence with the band during rehearsals on Sunday morning. Gene, our prayers are with you during this time. May Christ Jesus dwell with you richly - even in this season of sorrow and loss.
