Biography: Lawrence Joseph “ Larry” Ward III, age 52, of Little Rock, departed this life on Friday, August 6th, 2010. He was born December 8th , 1957 in Hollywood, California to the late Lawrence Joseph Ward II and Annie Elizabeth Swan Ward. Larry was a veteran of the United States Air Force for 25 years. He worked for the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller in Arkansas, Minnesota, California, and Texas. He served as a representative of this professional association, NATEA in Washington D.C. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ann Ward of Little Rock, two cherished step children, Jonathan Stephens Lareau and Justin James Lareau of Little Rock, and brother James “Jim” Ward of Van Nuys, California. A funeral mass will be held at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Bigelow, AR by Father Richard Davis at 10:00 AM today , August 11, 2010. Following the mass, a burial service will be held at 1:30 PM at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock . Larry will be missed by every life he touched with his laughter, and above all his sense of humor. We pray we will see him again one day. “ I am the resurrection and the life.
