Biography: Carl Louis Brunck, 82, of Little Rock went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 22, 2010. Born October 6, 1927 in Little Rock, he was the son of the late Carl and Nelle Brunck. His loving wife, Montine survives him as well as his son, Dr. Philip K. Brunck and daughter, Lisa Maher; sister, Carol Core; three granddaughters, one grandson, two greatgrandsons and one greatgranddaughter. He is preceded in death by a son, Carl Louis Brunck, Jr. He graduated with a degree in Architectural Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He worked for Wittenberg, Delony & Davidson and thereafter joined Engineering Consultants, Inc. as a partner. He was involved in many large construction projects in Little Rock and around Arkansas and Texas. Carl was known for his integrity and knowledge of his profession. He loved to fly airplanes learning at the age of 16. He also flew planes for the U S Navy at the end of World War II. He retired in 1991 and enjoyed sailing his boat for many years. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 28, at 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church. Memorials may be made to: Alzheimer’s Association, 10002 W. You, your mom and Philip are in my prayers. I have such wonderful memories of your dad and mom when we were young and driving them crazy with our teenage antics. I won't be able to attend the service but will be there in spirit.
