Biography: Gordon P. Wise, age 84, of Little Rock, passed away July 5, 2006. He was born June 21, 1922 in Gurdon, the only surviving son of O. D. and Sibbie (Reed) Wise. A life-long resident of Little Rock, Mr. Wise joined Immanuel Baptist Church in 1938 and was a member of the Reeves Men’s Sunday School Class there. A 1941 graduate of Little Rock High School, he attended Little Rock Junior College. He was an accountant with MidWay Motor Freight for 17 years then with Twin City Transit for another 17 years. He was a 50-year member of the Magnolia Lodge #60, Arkansas Consistory, KCCH in Arkansas Consistory, and Past Master. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Richard Wise. He leaves no immediate surviving family. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Pinecrest Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Phil Spigner. Masonic rites will follow by the Magnolia Lodge #60.
