Biography: Allen Henry Illing, age 52, of Little Rock, died July 9, 2006. He was born in Little Rock on January 13, 1954 and was a 1972 graduate of Central High. He attended UCA and LSU and was in the U.S. Air Force for twenty years. He was a passionate soccer player and played twice on Sunday and once on Wednesday at Burns Park. He was active in Habitat for Humanity and was recipient of the Golden Hammer. Survivors include his wife, Tressa Huntsman; daughters, Ursula Vinson and husband Drew of North Little Rock, Lindsay Illing of Orlando, Fla.; his mother, Ann (Hunt) Bell and husband Ray of Little Rock; sister, Robin Ann Fisher and husband David of Longview, Tex.; brother, Robert M. Illing of Hot Springs; and four grandchildren, Skylar, Trystan, and Shyann Vinson, and Keegan Illing. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Ruebel Funeral Home. Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Westover Hills Presbyterian Church officiated by Revs. Jim and Debbie Freeman.
