I would like to add my condolences. My Aunt Helen was Lillian's best friend at Presbyterian Village. She passed away in July 2009 and I had stayed in touch with Lillian because I knew she didn't have any family in the area. They ate next to each other for years and when I worked at Baptist Hospital I would go by in the mornings and have breakfast with them. I went by to see her last week and was told of her passing and I am so sorry that I didn't know she was recently in the hospital. I had asked her to let me know but she was fiercly independent so I was unaware. She and my Aunt were constant companions and we were well aware of their love for each other. Again I am so very sorry for your loss.

I will miss the times with Lillian. I always enjoyed her independence and strength of character. It was my pleasure that she placed some reliance with me.
My best wishes to her family.

Lillian was my bank customer & friend for over 20 years. She was a real example to me...always positive & gracious. I often called her if I couldn't figure out the cryptoquote in the newspaper. I will really miss her.
