Biography: Paul N. Irish, 89, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010. He was born June 17, 1920 in Atlanta, Illinois to the late Harry and Ottie French Irish. Paul retired from Primm Tire Company after 26 years; he was a decorated Army veteran of WWII and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jane Irish; his children, Joy Crow (Jay) of Little Rock, Judy Hollowell (Tommy) of North Little Rock and French Irish (Cindy) of Mount Vernon, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Nick Crow (Shelli) of Benton, Arkansas, Emily Hollowell of Dallas, Texas, Amy Hollowell of Ruston, Louisiana, P.J. and Paul Irish both of Mount Vernon, Arkansas and his great-grandchildren, Peyton and Presli Crow. Funeral service will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation from noon until service time. The Reverend Blake Bradford will officiate with burial following at Arkansas State Veteran’s Cemetery in North Little Rock. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veteran’s PO Box 14301 , Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301 or St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2223 Durwood, Little Rock, AR 72207. I used to work at Worthen Bank. Mr. Irish used to come to my window in the drive-in for Primm Tire. He was always such a joy to wait on. Always had a smile to give and a kind word. He was a love.
