Biography: Mark Howell Guffin, 44, of Little Rock, passed away Monday, July 3, 2006 after a courageous four-year battle with ALS and Pick’s Disease. Mark attended Fellowship Bible Church and was employed by Continental Express. He will be remembered for his love of his family, friends, laughter, golf, and cigars. Survivors include his wife, Jackie; sons Mark Guffin and Blaine Guffin; mother, Bonnie Harvey and husband Ed of Little Rock; sisters Darby Sentell and husband Mike of Heber Springs, Jill Pryor and husband Mark of Washington, DC; nephew, Adams Pryor; niece Porter Pryor. His father, John Guffin and wife Shirley, their daughter Anne of Oklahoma City, their son John Guffin and wife Susan of Memphis, Tenn., and a host of cousins and special friends also survive him. Mark was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Lois Prislovski, his paternal grandparents Chester and Roxie Guffin, and an Uncle, Johnny Prislovski. The family wishes to thank Mark’s many special friends, his doctors, Stacy Rudnicki and Daniel Felton, Hospice, and the Caregivers for their tremendous support and presence during the past few years. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 7, 2006 in the Special Events Center at Fellowship Bible Church officiated by Gayle Bone.
