June McClain was one of my first instructors @ Baptist School of Nursing. I looked up to her as my role model She had a wonderful way of displaying her kindness as well as sterness to a little student nurse. She became a very dear friend to each one of us in Class of 54. I shall miss you. Mary Jo (Balcom) Rogers

I'm so sorry to hear of "Miss June's" passing. She was a dear friend and next-door neighbor of my family. I admired her ability to smile through it all and always kept her sense of humor. She will be missed.
