Jeff, Kie, Aaron, and Brett,

I love you all very much, and loved your little girl/little sister too. There is no doubt in my mind that she is now watching over you in heaven, just as you did for her here on earth. She could not have been sweeter, and she couldn't have asked for a better family. She will continue to be an inspriration for so many, and go on touching lives as her story reaches more and more people.

All my love,

Derek

Kie--you are probably the best mom I have ever met. Reid was so loved by you, Jeff and the boys and I am sure that was what made her such a fighter. She is resting now and I hope you are finding peace during this tough time.

Kie, Jeff, Aaron, and Brett Bug, I am so sorry for your loss. Reid touched so many lives, and I'm certain that's why God sent her to y'all. I've learned to not take advantage of the little things, and to be grateful for the blessings in my life. Kie and Jeff, you are two very strong people, and I'm so happy you have each other. Your children are so lucky to have you as parents. I admire your strength and positive attitude when things got tough, and especially your faith in the Lord. I know that Reid is with him now, running and playing, watching over you, and a sweet baby angel.
With deepest sympathy and love,
Misty
