Biography: Margaret Nipper Morgan, age 104, of Little Rock, died March 8, 2010. She was born on March 10, 1905 in Beebe, AR to the Late Carrell A. and Esther McCall Morgan. After graduating high school, Mrs. Morgan attended Business College before her and her late husband, Widdie E. Morgan founded Morgan Steel Buildings. She was known as quite a business woman. She volunteered with the Salvation Army, the Red Cross, and Presbyterian Village for many years and was a member of the Little Rock Departmental Club where she helped raise money for Nursing Scholarships. Mrs. Morgan was a faithful member of Little Rock’s First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Bethel Sunday School Class. She is survived by her nephew, John Morgan and his wife Sharon of Little Rock, and great nephew, Scott Morgan and his wife, Scarlett of Little Rock, along with numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband and brother, Lawrence Nipper. Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 12, at 1:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Park with Rev. Mary Jane Cole officiating. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 723 Center Street, Little Rock, AR 72201, or to Presbyterian Village, 510 N. Brookside Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205. I just found out about Aunt Marney's passing. We lost contact with her after my mother and Dad (Burl & Evelyn Burnett) passed away. Please let me know if I can share some memories with you. Aunt Marney and my mother were very close. She was quite a lady. Thank you.
