Malinda,
I am so sorry about your mother's passing. I have many fond memories of coming to your house before and after gymnastics - she was always there with a smile on her face. It was always fun to go to your house - it was like home. You, your brothers, father, and family are in my prayers.

Sincerely,

Brandi

Some of our happiest Little Rock memories were with your family in your lovely home - even if only for short visits. We especially enjoyed seeing Hollis as Mame. God bless all of you. She will be missed.

To Carolynn, Jim and children-Hollis was certainly our "grande dame" of the Happiness Singers. She was surely the heart of our music, with her beautiful voice and eternal good cheer. We all loved her so much, and our voices always sounded so much richer with her there, carrying us along. There will be a permanent vacant place where she always sat. But she will be prominently present in our hearts forever. Our love to you all on the loss of this great sister, wife, mother and friend. Catherine Cockrill

I cannot think of Hollis without seeing her beautiful smile and hearing her wonderful laugh. What a special friend and multitalented lady she was. I have many memories of fun times at Christ Episcopal Church, the Community Theatre, Happiness Singers and just running into her in the neighborhood. She loved her family so much. Our thoughts are with all of you at this time.

Dearest Conway, Malinda, Neil, and Jim: I am very sorry to hear of your loss. You all occupy a special place in my heart and I have so many fond memories of Hollis; one in particular being my short dance with her on stage as I played Junior Babcock during Auntie Mame. But most of my memories are of her at home sitting on the living room couch reading. When I'd come over early to roust Conway out of bed, she and I would have a short conversation as I made my way through going upstairs to Conway's room. Those early 1980's memories are so vivid they seem like yesterday. She was a dear lady.

I am so sorry to hear of Hollis' passing. It has been many years, but I remember her well from our visits with my mother, Elise Newman, to Little Rock to see our family. I particularly remember also her father Claibourne's kindness on the occasion of my father's death when he came to Concord for my mother. Pat and my thoughts are with you, Bert

Jim, Malinda, Conway, and Neil, Hollis was loved so much and was the bright spot in everyday. There are so many happy, fun memories in our Happiness Singer group because of her. She will be sorely missed. When I stand in front of our group directing the singers, I will always see her singing, smiling, keeping us together in love for
the Happiness Singers. Our deepest sympathy to all
of you and precious Carolyn.
