Biography: Robert (Don) Studdard, passed this life and joined his Lord on June 11, 2006. He was born on December 6, 1938 in Whitehall, AR . He was a Military Veteran of the 101st Division and was stationed in Germany. He was also a long time employee of the Southern Pacific Railroad. He was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Ann Baskette Studdard; three daughters, SiDonna Compton, Stephanie Studdard , and SiLena Puckett , and four grand daughters and two grandsons. He is also survived by his brother, George Studdard, his sisters, Mrs. Doris Harris, Mrs. Shirley Kiszenia, and Flo Mae Crossett, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 13, from 5 – 7 PM at Ruebel Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday in the chapel of Ruebel Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Van Meter officiating. Burial will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. www.ruebelfuneralhome.com. I was so sorry to hear about Don's death. I met Don back in 1992 when he was working at a sporting goods place in North Little Rock. We became instant friends and played a lot of golf together for a couple of years. As the years passed, I lost contact with Don but thought about him often. I'm glad he found someone to love!
