Biography: John M. Foster, 45, of Little Rock, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009 after a lengthy illness. He was born December 17, 1963 in Canutillo, Texas to the late Jack L. Foster and Lena R. Brown. John was employed by Wal-Mart for over 20 years and was an avid sports fan. He is survived by his wife, Karen Foster of Little Rock; his mother and step-father, Lena and Sam Brown of Anniston, Missouri; his step-mother, Linda Foster of Little Rock; brothers, Mike Foster and his wife Mary of Kennett, Missouri, Jack Allen Foster of El Paso, Texas and Ron Foster and his wife Kathy of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and a sister, Janie Stallings and husband Jerry of East Prairie, Missouri. There will be a visitation at Ruebel Funeral Home on Sunday, November 29, 2009 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Ruebel Funeral Home on Monday, November 30, 2009, officiated by Rick Dunn. My thoughts and prayers are with John's family, co-workers, and numerous friends. I will remember his smile and wonderful laugh. It eases me to know that he no longer has to fight such a terrible disease. He gave it is best, and I would expect nothing less from him.

He worked at Wal-Mart with my mother, and he ALWAYS had that big smile for me & my kids! John had a kind heart that shined so bright...his loss is a great one. God bless you all.
