Biography: Glenn Doyle Garrison, of Little Rock, formerly of Kansas City, Missouri passed away in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 13, 2009. Glenn was born June 4, 1930 in Joy, Arkansas and was a graduate of Beebe High School. He attended college at the University of Tennessee and the University of Central Arkansas, where he graduated in 1951 with a B.S in Mathematics. He then entered Naval Aviator Cadet Training in Pensacola, Florida where he met and married Carmelite Marie Langan, shortly after graduating from Cadet Training in 1953. Glenn served in the United States Navy as a Naval Aviator (Lt. JG) and Martin P5-M Seaplane Commander during the Korean occupation, from 1953 until his honorable discharge in 1956. He then went to work for Trans World Airlines as a commercial pilot and test pilot and retired as a captain and flight instructor in 1986, after 30 years of service with TWA. Glenn enjoyed many hobbies, including sailing, golf, dancing, flying for leisure, bridge, spending time with his investment club friends and traveling with friends and family. Glenn is preceded in death by his wife, Carmelite M. Garrison, his father Willis H. Garrison, his mother Gertrude E. Garrison and his sister Gladia Garrison Chobot. He is survived by his wife, Ann Walton Garrison Garrison of Little Rock, by his children; Glenn Garrison (Shelly), Mike Garrison (Karen), Karen Mayfield (Dave), Carol Garrison Carlton; two step children, Becca Lareau Ward (Larry), Little Rock and Gene Garrison Villareal of Hot Springs, AR; 9 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren, Zack Villareal, Jonathon and Justin Lareau and 3 great-grandchildren. There will be a funeral service Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral officiated by The Very Reverend Jonathon Jensen.
