Biography: Alice Elaine Sims, 55, passed away at home October 3, 2009. She was born September 7, 1954 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a graduate of Macarthur High School Class of 1972. She was a well respected antique dealer and collector as well as the owner of Devon Town Tea Shop here in San Antonio. Alice was also a creative and talented interior designer. She will be remembered for her love of people and of animals. Alice is survived by her brother; Clark Sims and sister; Susan Fine and her husband Russell, nephew; Donny David, nieces; Leah Fleitas and Megan Sims and her former husband Jim Huber; step son Chris and 5 grandchildren. Her family will receive friends Thursday evening for 6-8 p.m.at Sunset Suneral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday October 9, 2009 at 12 Noon in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Alice will be laid to rest in a private graveside service in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Little Rock, Ark. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Defense League. I miss you and can not believe it’s been 15 since you passed away. I only wish things were better between us but time took its toll. I know you are with your mom, dad, meme and all the aunts. I happy for you, You have peace.
