Biography: Jeanette Wolfe Allsbury, 87 of Little Rock, died Monday, August 10, 2009. She was born September 27, 1921, in Beulah, Michigan to The Rev. Arthur Whiting Wolfe and Edith Stoddard Wolfe. She was a graduate of Emporia (Park College), Kansas, and taught in Waupun, Wisconsin for 25 years, in both elementary and middle school. She was very active in the United Church of Christ. Ms. Allsbury is survived by her son, John Allsbury and wife Kris; grandchildren, Lin Sorrentino and husband Sean, Scott and wife Sheila; and great grandchildren, William and Gregory; daughter, Jeanette Bonnell and husband George; grandchildren, Christian and Morgan; daughter, Catherine Allsbury and husband Jim Miller; and her sister, Alice Ward. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, William Wolfe and one sister, Mary Wolfe Brock. There will be a memorial service 10 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2009, at Second Presbyterian Church with a reception to follow.
