Such a precious lady! She taught both of my kids Sunday School when they were little. What I remember the most about her was her smile and her laugh! She suffered way too long, and got tired with the journey! She was a very strong lady, but she was ready to go home! Hold on to all the memories, and be more determined than ever to meet her in Heaven! Your strength, comfort and hope comes from above! When you feel the void just know that you are always in His Presence! May God bless and keep you all! Our prayers and thoughts are with you!

To the entire family our prayers are with you at this time. Even though I haven't heard from you in years I couldn't resist sending a quick message to all. May God give you peace and comfort through the following days. I attended church at Community Chapel with Shirley and her family. I would love to sit down and talk with Lena and James.

Dear Walter & Family,
Oh, how sad to open the paper today and find that Shirley is gone. But, only to a better place. We are so blessed to have known her, enjoyed her company when she managed the store at Redfield, and now look forward to spending eternity with her. You are always in our prayers and just believe that God will hold you in the hollow of His hand and He is all you need for the future. Harold just mentioned to me about the good times that you all had during the "growing up" years.
Our love and best wishes,
Harold and Martha Smith

Aunt Shirley,
It's been a year since you gave your heart to the Lord and he wanted you at home with him. I can only imagine the crowd that was waiting for you when you entered Heaven and oh the relief you must've felt leaving this place. No more pain, no more suffering, no more sickness, no more disappointments, and no more tears. You tell Papa that I said hi and we miss him. We'll miss you too but look forward to seeing you both, along with other members of my family, in a very short time.
Meet you there,
Missy

What else is there to say? Shirley was one of my bestest buddies in life and in death she will be my sister, at last. Although I moved away, the miles didn't keep us apart. So get on board God's Life Boat, she'll carry you safely home. We will meet again on the other shore.

God Bless You

Our Deepest Sorrow,

James and Janice•We are so sorry for your loss.

•Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
•Hold tight to memories for comfort.
•Lean on your friends for strength, and always remember how much you are cared about.

•God saw Shirley getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around her and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes you watched her, and saw her pass away. Although you loved her dearly,you could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke your hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

•May the comfort of God help you during this difficult time.
Love and prayers to you and your family.

Safely Home
by Unknown

I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.

All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.

Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! but Jesus' arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread?

Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still;
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's Will.

There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remaineth--
You shall rest in Jesus' land.

When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come

We will miss Aunt Shirley but know she is in no more pain. We love you all and please know you can call on us anytime.

Love
Gary,Veta and Courtney
