Dear Family,
Aunt Katie truly holds a special place in my heart. I remember so many fun times with her while I was going up. My dad always wanted me to be like his sisters. He really thought the world of each of them and knew being just a little like any of them would be wonderful. She truly was a fun loving kind lady that will be missed. She made everyone feel "Special". I will always cherish my memories of Aunt Katie. My prayers are with you today. Weston, Debbie, Amy Huddleston and Alisha Burnett

Aunt Katie was always fun to be around growing up - her laugh and smile caused everyone else to be happy as well. Some of my favorite childhood memories are spending a week in the summer with Aunt Katie and Uncle Harold, swimming at "Y" and going to the zoo!

With love and prayers, Cecilia & family

Mrs. Grant was truly an inspiration, as I remember spending many afternoons in her kitchen while she fed me cheese toast and spoke of the importance of a good education (going to college) and of hard work. She always knew just how to word things and how get through to "kids" as she would always throw in a good laugh. I know she will forever be missed by many. I will always remember her and her kind nature.

Katie Grant was one the greatest influences of my life. She was a wonderful person, with a fabulous laugh. Whenever I think of Mrs.Grant I picture her laughing, I loved that about her. She could always see the humor in life, she was a treasure. I cared so much for her that I was going to name one of my children after her but it turned out I only had boys!
