Joan, Joyce and John, your Mom was one of the most special persons I ever had the pleasure of knowing. Just seeing her picture in the paper brought back such fond memories of long ago. She mentored, consoled, shared recipes (good ones too), laughed and played a whale of a game of bridge. Mrs. B was a great lady.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

The few times that we were priviledged to meet and visit with "BOO BOO", we were impressed with the sweet, jolly, but sophisticated lady that brightened the lives of the Brittain/Steen family. Our sympathies to each of you for your great loss. May God give you special strengths and courage during this time. May the memories of days and years past shadow the grief and allow you to continue your lives without her.

Dear Joyce, John, Joan & family:

May the wonderful memories of your mother and grandmother live within your heart, soul and mind forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will cherish the memories of her 90th birthday party forever. What a classy woman! One can only HOPE to age as gracefully as our Aunt Jean. May you find comfort knowing she is reunited with her brothers.

We will remember Jean as a very stylish woman of great character. A woman who cared very much for her family and worked every day of her life to provide for their happiness. She walked with grace; she spoke with affection; she dressed with great dignity. Her smile was always genuine and engaging. Her touch was meant to reassure and to comfort. Her eyes would disarm friends and strangers and immediatley create a sense of ease and tranquility.

Jean was a very special lady. She worked hard all of her life caring for others. Now she can rest!
