Biography: Chase D. Weniger, of Little Rock, passed away Monday, March 30, 2009. Chase was known as a thoughtful, kind, caring and loving young man, he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Chase is survived by his parents, Kathy Weniger and Earl Weniger. Grandfather Sidney Weniger of New York, Great Aunt and Uncle Adele and Melvin Zuckerman of New York, Uncle & Aunt Drs. Bruce & Tip Weniger of Atlanta, Aunt & Uncle Teri and Barry Monahan of Chicago, Uncle & Aunt Jon & Lena Sadler, Cousins Jay and Margaret Wang of Little Rock, and Melanie Weniger of Atlanta. Chase is also survived by cherished friends and loved ones Jo Jo Davis, Dee Davis, Richard Orintas, Joseph Wetzel, Jake Wetzel, Mary Cockrill, Lyla Pearsal, and Francis Stuettgen. Chase graduated in 2002 from Catholic High School for Boys. He attended the University of Arkansas and the University of Memphis Schools of Architecture and was continuing his studies at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. An active sportsman, Chase enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, advanced rock climbing, and participated in the Athens-to-Atlanta Marathon Race, and Outward Bound in California. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. at the First Christian Church, 1500 North Mississippi, Little Rock. Burial will be held afterwards at Roselawn Memorial Park , 2801 Asher Avenue. Pallbearers will include: Bruce Weniger, Barry Monahan, John Sadler, Mike Davis, Sterling Cockrill, Richard Orintas, Joseph Wetzel, Jake Wetzel, Jay Wang, Zeb Powers, Chris Pruitt, and Bryan Reifeiss. Following the services, visitation will be at the home of Dee Wetzel, 28 Deauville Circle, Little Rock and the home of Sam C. Highsmith, 5524 Chevaux Court, Little Rock.
