Biography: Davies Baker Campbell, age 83, of Little Rock, died March 26, 2009. He was born on November 8, 1925 in Little Rock to the late Clifton Breckinridge and Sarah Baker Campbell. He graduated from Little Rock High School in 1944. He later graduated from Columbia University in New York after serving in the US Army Signal Corps during World War II. Davies was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Men’s Fraternity. Davies was a past Vice President of Little Rock’s First National Bank. He was also President of Winroc Realty. He later founded D.B.C. Realty Corporation specializing in commercial income producing projects. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral where he was on the Vestry and a Sunday School Teacher. Davies enjoyed woodworking and was a master gardener who enjoyed volunteering his time and gardening abilities at the Wildwood Performing Arts Center. He served on several boards including the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, Citizens Planning Association, Family Service Agency, Pulaski County Child Guidance Center, and the Little Rock Apartment Council. Davies is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mrs. Martha Smith Campbell, his daughters Melissa Carroll and her husband Steve of Fayetteville, AR, and Sarah Anne Fink and her husband Dan of Zionsville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Clark and Clay Carroll, and Caroline, Aubrey, Christian, and Emily Fink; his brother, Breckinridge Campbell of Little Rock, and his sister Sarah Ray of Fort Worth, TX. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Park.
