Biography: Martha Jane Enderlin, 63, of Little Rock, died May 24, 2006 in Hot Springs. Beloved as “Marty” by family and friends, she was a kind, gentle, and loving soul and maintained her sense of humor until she passed. She was born September 17, 1942 in Conway to the late Paul and Mildred (Lipsmeyer) Enderlin. Marty was selected All-district in basketball at St. Joseph School and earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Arkansas State Teachers College. She worked for the State Department of Education until she became the co-owner and proprietor of The Villa Italian Restaurant in Little Rock. She co-owned and operated the business until her recent illness. Survivors include her brothers Paul Enderlin, Jr. of Hot Springs and Garry Mark Enderlin of Conway; a sister, Annette Enderlin of Hot Springs; eight nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and nephews. A private ceremony for family will be held. A visitation for family and friends will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2006 in the Family Life Center at Christ the King Catholic Church.
