It has been many years since I have seen my Uncle James, but I have never forgotten his sweet and kind nature, and the way he always played with all of us kids at family get togethers in Mississippi.
Even though I never get to see family as I grow older, I will remember Uncle James, Uncle Woody and will hold those memories fondly in my heart forever.
I lift Aunt Aggie, Kerry, and Tracy up in Prayer during this sad time, but know there is no better place for Uncle James to be than with our Father in Heaven.

With Sympathy and Love,
Rebecca King Duff

Granddaddy,

It breaks my heart that I won't get to see you again in this life time. We felt terrible watching you suffer, and God was ready for you to come to Paradise out of your misery.
The human part of us wants desperately to hold on to you forever, but know that is it inevitable. None of us will live forever. Thank you for standing beside me and saving my life. I will miss your laugh, the Westerns movies we watched together and how we made pictures out of the floating clouds in the sky. You have been a blessing to us all. I will take care of Granny for you in your absence but we will see you again one day, for sure. You have been a blessing to me throughout my life, protected me, and loved me unconditionally. You are one of the greatest people I know. I know Paradise really rocks!!!!!
I love you endlessly...
Your one and only Granddaughter,

Tracy D. Garner

Aggie, Kerry, and Tracy:

James Garner was has be an influence in my life since my grade school years at Lee Elementary in Little Rock. I remember the great times he helped us all have...at your house on 13th street or 21 Talmage Drive, at Greesferry Lake camping with my folks. On those outings James Garner fixed the greatest "T-Bone" Steaks. Great.

He gave me a job to work during the summers. I loved getting to drive all those different cars.

I remember during a very difficult time in my life he gave me an ear and great advice. He did not lecture....he listed and then said what I knew was right. I took his advice and am grateful.

May God bless all of you during this time. I am verry sorry that because of other obligations I will not be able to attend. Mrs. Garner, hope to see you in the near future. Kerry, hope to visit with you as well in future.

IN CHRIST,

mike martin
