Biography: Mrs. Edwin Rebecca Harrison, 94, of Little Rock died Monday, January 19, 2009. She was born January 5, 1915 in Little Rock to the late Anna Pilkington and Oscar E. McDaniel. She was the youngest of five sisters and one brother all of whom preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband Richard G. Harrison. Edwin was a long time member of Second Baptist Church, a graduate of Little Rock Senior High School and a resident of Parkway Village. She is survived by her two sons, Richard C. Harrison (Myra) of Ono Island, Alabama and Stephen E. Harrison (Donie) of Little Rock and a daughter, Susan Rebecca Harrison of Cypress, California: 4 grandchildren, Mark Harrison (Kim), Matt Harrison (Carolyn), Brian Harrison (Elizabeth) and Angela King (Petey) and her 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial service celebrating Edwin’s life as a loving wife, mother and grandmother will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21,at Ruebel Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Ed Simpson. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Baptist Health Hospice, 11900 Colonel Glenn, Ste. 2000, Little Rock, AR 72210.
