Suzanne and Tina,

I did not really know LaRee as an adult; but I do remember her from when we were all growing up together. As an adult, I know that you loved her unconditionally and were always there to watch over her. She had great sisters. I'm sorry for your loss. Charlie Wood

LaRee was a very special part of growing up next door to the Turner family. She was our moral compass, often threatening to "tell Mama" or "call the Po-lice" when we were up to no good!
I am lucky to have known her. I cherish those sweet memories.

Miss LaRee was the sweetest and most tenderhearted lady I know. We will greatly miss her. She was a gift to the church and a gift to Mr. Tidwell. There was never a more precious couple.

The Balm Of God's Love
by M.S.Lowndes

When we lose someone we love
The loss seems too great to bear
God sends us friends to comfort us
To show that He deeply cares

But in the dark hours of the night
When there’s nobody else around
When we feel the saddest and loneliest
It’s there God’s love can be found

It’s like a soothing, healing balm
To soothe our broken hearts
The healing oil poured over us
That flows into every part

We can rest secure in God’s love
And know He’s by our side
He holds us when we feel as though
A part of us has died

We can know that God will listen
When we just want to talk
And when we feel we need to cry
We can share it with the Lord

For He is always waiting there
Ready with arms open wide
As we pour out the hurt within
He pours His love inside

Our Father above loves us so much
And will never leave us alone
He will not forsake us in our need
To face this on our own

He comforts us and strengthens us
And rubs us with His balm
And as the dawn breaks through the night
We’ll awake in His loving arms.

It was such a joy and privilege to share in Laree's life - if only for a few years. On the daily journey to, and at the ARC Arts center, she was cheery, pithy about politicians and their short-sightedness, and loved to joke. At Eastside Lofts in Little Rock, Pam, Laura, Sam and I smiled when we heard her knock at the apartment door in the early evening. We often spent an hour or two chatting and giggling with her and Bill.

I know we will all miss her very much, and my warm thoughts go out to Bill and all her family and friends. I am thinking of you all and am there in spirit. Bless you, Laree, for all you shared so generously with us.

LaRee was one of our LORD's special gifts to all that knew her. Our thoughts and prayers are with those she has left behind. Oh, if we could only see what she is seeing and experiencing now. Free of the bonds of this world and knowing more love than any of us can even imagine.

I am glad to have known LaRee.
