Biography: LaRee Turner Tidwell, age 63, of Little Rock, precious spirit left this earth January 10, 2009. LaRee is survived by her husband, Marshall “Bill” Tidwell of Little Rock, her father Ernest Turner and wife Arlene of Social Hill, Arkansas, two sisters; Suzanne Yancey Choate and Tina Turner and husband Ray Wittenberg, niece Laura “Katie” Choate all of Little Rock, and many family and friends whose lives she enriched. She is preceded in death by her mother, Laura Reid Turner who died in 1986. The family would like to thank Sheila Williams for her loving care. LaRee being Down Syndrome touched the lives of all who were lucky enough to know her. She attended Pulaski Heights Junior High School, Easter Seals in Little Rock, and was employeed for several years by the Ruby Tuesdays Restaurant at Park Plaza Mall. For the past 22 years she has been associated with ARC Arkansas whose special caregivers became her extended family. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church of North Little Rock. LaRee offered us hope that we could be optimistic, to have courage, determination and love. There will be a visitation held, Tuesday from 5 to 7p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, officiated by Reverend Mary Hoey, followed by a graveside service at 3:30pm at the Anderson Cemetery in Springhill, Arkansas.
