Biography: Bernard (Ben) Elmo Kaiser, Jr., 87, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana departed in peace on December 28, 2008 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Son of the late Bernard Elmo Kaiser and Vera Solomon Kaiser. Devoted husband of Olga Fourmigue Kaiser for over 61 years, he was lovingly known as “Pa” to his children and grandchildren. Ben spent the majority of his working years in the insurance field and retired from Allstate Insurance Company. Before Ben’s successful years in the insurance business, he served his country in the United States Army during WWII as a gunner for the 106th Infantry Division. He was deployed to Europe in 1943, where he fought in the famous Battle of the Bulge. He was discharged in December of 1945 as a Second Lieutenant. He was an avid golfer who was a well known figure on the Beau Chene golf course in Mandeville Louisiana before moving back to Little Rock in 2006. He was preceded in death by 5 sisters: Margaret Webster, Catherine Richard, Vera Kaiser, Doris Smith, and Patricia Lynch. He is survived by his children: Carol Burrall, Bernard (Bek) Kaiser and his wife Teri, Charles Kaiser, Eric Kaiser and his wife Jenny. His sisters: Eileen Dalier, Lillie Yeagar, Laura Barecca, Joann French, his 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, a host of nieces and nephews, and many friends. The family extends a special thanks to Rhonda, Cheryl, Kay and Mary for their loving care of Pa. Special thanks also to Arkansas Hospice who cared for Ben during his last days. A visitation will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, January 2, 2009 at Ruebel Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. in the Ruebel Funeral Home Chapel. Please accept our deepest regrets at the passing of your father and our friend. We remember him fondly as a good neighbor and friend when he and Olga lived in Mandeville as our next door neighbors.

Carol and Family, You are all in our prayers. So sorry for your loss but know that your dad lived a long and beautiful life with you and Jesus at his side. He is now there with God and rejoicing in his glory. All our love, wish we could be there, Randy and Lizby Eustis (Todd's new in-laws)
