Biography: Charles David Basham, of Little Rock, died December 11, 2008. He was born in Butler, Penn., to Lois Hunt and Charles R. Basham on July 24, 1924. He graduated from Little Rock High School and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He was a Kappa Sigma. Charles was in commercial real estate and was a home builder. He leaves a wife of 56 years, Desha Clayton Basham; two sons, Charles H. (Kay), Drew (Leslie); a daughter, Beverly Kinley (Jeff); six grandchildren, Conly, Claire and James Basham, Clayton, Stuart and Davis Kinley. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.
