Biography: Dennis Arthur O’Brien Jr, 86, of Little Rock, passed away Saturday December 6, 2008. Dennis was born to Lucy and Dennis Arthur O’Brien Sr in 1922 at Nyack, New York. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jay O’Brien and daughter Patty. He is survived by his sons; Michael, Dennis and Timothy, as well as his daughters; JoAnne and Denise. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Dennis was a test pilot in the Army Air-Corp during World War II during which time he walked away from two plane crashes. He is a life long Yankee fan and part-time advisor to George Steinbrenner. Dennis was an 18 year friend of Bill W. He was a member of the Wolfe Street Foundation, an active member of the Wolfe Street Happy Hour Group, the Wednesday Lunch Meeting and Saints We Ain't. He was a lover of Big Band Era Music along with being a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A visitation will be held Tuesday December 9, 2008 from 5 to 7 p.m. immediately followed by a memorial service at Ruebel Funeral Home.
