Biography: Myrlee Esther Magnuson, 79, of Little Rock, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008. She was born in Fort Dodge, IA. After graduating from Fort Dodge High School, she attended the Iowa Lutheran School of Nursing in Des Moines, IA and became a Registered Nurse. She practiced nursing for many years on a part time basis while raising a family. On September 16, 1951 she married Earl Magnuson. They lived most of their lives in Des Moines, IA and Omaha, NE and raised two sons, Mark A. Magnuson of Nashville, TN and David E. Magnuson of Forster City CA. She loved her church work and served on the Altar Guild at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church for over 15 years. Other activities include Duplicate Bridge in the Welcome Wagon where she also headed various committees. Quilting, knitting and painting were her hobbies in addition to managing the family home. She was a member of Chapter CK, P.E.O. Myrlee is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Earl; two sons, Mark and his wife Lucille and daughter Kelsey, and David and his wife Martha and children Erik and Audrey; and a sister, Arlene Douglas of Ottumwa, Iowa. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1000 N. Mississippi, Little Rock, AR 72207. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to St. Mark’s Church, the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Arrangements by Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.

So sorry we were unable to come to the funeral. Myrlee is up in heaven dancing with her sister, Leora, and parents right now. She will definately be missed

Earl and family,
