Biography: Gordon (Gordy) W. Croswell, 63, of Little Rock, lost his battle with Prostate Cancer on October 24, 2008. He was born October 23, 1945 in Hamburg Arkansas to the late Gordy and Alvena Croswell. Preceded in death by his son, John William Croswell, his sister, Nell Kusterin , and three brothers; Charles Sivils, Tommy and Felton Croswell. He is survived by his wife LaQuita, daughter Crystal Hunnicutt of Fayetteville, brothers; James Croswell (Margaret) of Valley View, Texas, and Michael Fox (Pam) of North Little Rock and sisters in law Shirley Grooms (Bill) of Westville, Oklahoma and Joyce Sivils of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, two grandchildren; Alissa and Grayson Hunnicutt of Fayetteville, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Gordon had a successful career as owner/operator of Hair Care Inc. in the Heights. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time at his cabin and with his grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday October 26, 2008 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Monday October 27, 2008 at 3 p.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park. I am so sorry to read of Gordon's death. I haven't seen you guys for years but have thought about both of you very often. Recently, I have been compelled to stop in Hair Care every time I pass by (often - I live in Kingwood and go to the Kroger right down the street). I never did and wish now I had listened to my heart. I could have found out about his illness. I can relate - I have multiple myeloma. We could have been a support system! Best wishes for adjusting to such a huge loss.
