Dear LaQuita,
I am shocked and saddened to hear of Gordy's battle with cancer. I have so many good memories of you and Gordy in Hamburg and all those crazy times. He was a multi-talented person living life to its fullest and always made me laugh at his funny stories about hunting, football and styling hair. All of which he loved and excelled in. You are in my prayers.
Love,
Betty Lynn

I am so sorry to read of Gordon's death. I haven't seen you guys for years but have thought about both of you very often. Recently, I have been compelled to stop in Hair Care every time I pass by (often - I live in Kingwood and go to the Kroger right down the street). I never did and wish now I had listened to my heart. I could have found out about his illness. I can relate - I have multiple myeloma. We could have been a support system! Best wishes for adjusting to such a huge loss.

LaQuita and family: Please know that the friends and classmates of yourself and Gordy in Hamburg were deeply sadden to learn of his death. All of you have been on our hearts and minds and in our prayers in his time of battle. Some of us have stood where you are today and know that these things are so hard to understand and deal with, but we know that God has a special plan. We wish that we could be there for you today in body, but please know that we are there in spirit, love and sympathy.

Dear LaQuita and Family,

I am so sorry to hear "Gordo" lost his fight with cancer. LaQuita, I am sorry that I never thought to thank him for the many years he shared you with me as my Bridge partner. Even with my limited exposure to Gordon, I knew Gordon was a very special person.

May God bless and help you through these trying times.

Dear LaQuita and Family,

For the last forty-three years Gordy has been a wonderful friend and stylist to me. His wonderful stories of how much he loved his beautiful family, the great outdoors, and the thrill and excitement of life will remain treasures in my mind. LaQuita, his greatest story was about how you grew up in front of his eyes; and how he fell in love with you. And, Crystal you and those beautiful babies were always first and foremost.

May God Keep and Bless you,
Patty

Dear La Quita and family,

I cannot tell you how I will miss Gordon as a friend and as a professional.
He always seemed to work his magic on his clients; and we shared many a laugh together. He always greeted us with a smile on his face, as if we were the only person in his shop. I will continue to miss a very kind man. May you find Christ's Peace in the hard days to come.

Loving thoughts and prayers.

LaQuita, James & Crystal, Claudia and I are so sorry that we could not be there with you in this time of great loss. We know that Gordy is in a better place, but those of us who are left here on this earth must still deal with the loss of a loved one in our own special way. Know that you are still in our prayers to the Lord of Lords and we love you all.
May God bless and keep you in His loving embrace.
