Family of Maxine G. McGraw
Very sorry to read about the passing of your dear loved one Maxine. It seems that life is such a precious gift and yet so short-lived for the time we exist. I am writing to share a few words of comfort and encouragement from the source of truth the bible. At 2 Corinthians 1:3 God is referred to as the father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort." The bible holds out a wonderful hope for all mankind. At John 11:25 Jesus said"I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. HE THAT EXERCIES FAITH IN ME, EVEN THOUGH HE DIES,WILL COME TO LIFE."
Yes God's greatness is evident in the resurrection of his son Jesus Christ. Moreover, that great act is a guarantee that the resurrection of others is possible. The bible gives nine accounts of ones who were resurrected . That should strengthen our faith that God can bring back to life the billions of dead people he holds within his perfect memory. (John 5-28,29) What a blessed reason to hope in God!
We all have been given the wonderful gift of our memories. As you and yours start to heal the memories of Maxine will bring you great joy.
Grieving is the normal and natural respone to the loss of someone you love. I found three ways that helped me. Talking about it, writing about it, and reading information in the bible on the resurrection . I hope these few words have ligthened your grief and strengthened your faith in our heavely father. (Psalms 83-18)
Sincerly
