Biography: Gilbert Jerome Yeager, age 90 of Little Rock, died Tuesday, September 23, 2008. He was born April 13, 1918 in Boyd, Wisconsin to the late Mike Yeager and Catherine Zurefelhofer Yeager. Mr. Yeager took pride in serving his country. He served three years in the United States Army and 20 years in the United States Air Force. The bumper sticker on his truck read, “Pearl Harbor – Dec. 7, 1941…I was there!” He is survived by his daughter, Trinidad E. Boucher and her husband Kenneth; seven grandchildren, Elena, Amy, Chad, Michelle, Monica, Marsha and Melissa; eleven great grandchildren; several other family members and friends. I met Mr. Yeager at Fuller and Son Hardware, where he often came to visit. He bacame one of our "regulars" and most favorite person. I loved to hear his stories. He will be missed by many people.
