William,

I did not learn of your mother's funeral until after the service today. As soon as I heard the news, I contacted Darrell Tuberville in Malvern. I know what it means to lose a mother. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and are surrounded by my love.

I will always remember my second grade teacher from Lakeside Elem. She was a very driving force in my wanting to learn. She went above and beyond to make sure her students did their best. I have always loved the lady who helped me after school if I needed it even after I had left her class.
God Blessed us all with her. My prayers are with her entire family, as she would have wanted I will always strive to do my best at everything.

My dearest William,
You have my deepest sympathy in the loss of your beautiful mother. It was great seeing you and her at my son Adrion's wedding. Adrion said it was like having a celebrity attend his wedding. She looked so regal. I know that no words can make it any easier right now but I want you to know that I respected your mother and I was very pleased that she and my mother remained friends even after her move to Little Rock. My mother spoke highly of her and their friendship and considered her a true friend. May God's grace sustain you in your time of sorrow.
