Biography: Imah “Johnnye” Batchelor Clark, age 94, of Little Rock, AR passed from this life on July 20, 2008. She was born on September 12, 1913 to Patrick E. and Nellie R. (Walter) Batchelor of Redfield, AR. Johnnye was a longtime resident of Fair Park Boulevard, a wonderful homemaker, and enjoyed baking cakes and pies for family and friends. She lived at Parkway Village in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Clark; 4 brothers, Idis Batchelor, Arnold Batchelor, Pat Batchelor, and Havis Batchelor; and 3 sisters, Eura Mae Wilson, Erma Arendale, and Arlene Batchelor. Memories of her will be cherished by her two sons, Gary Clark of Kissimmee, FL and Bob Clark and wife, June, of Little Rock; brother, Edgar Batchelor and wife, Donnie, of Longview, TX; 4 granddaughters, Michelle O’Donnell and husband, Chris, of Fredericksburg, VA, Amy Waters and husband, Michael, of Indianapolis, IN, Deanna Harris and husband, Rob of Pittsboro, IN, and Julienne Clark of Warren, AR; 3 great-grandchildren and other family and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 23, from 5 to 7 P.M. at Ruebel Funeral Home, Little Rock, AR. Graveside service will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park at 10 A.M. on Thursday, July 24, with Pat Batchelor officiating.
