To the Family:
I was so sorry to hear about Cindy. We did see each other a few times through the years but we spent many nights at each others house and hanging out on Cherry Street and The Pine Bluff Country Club. As it's been said lots of times in these letters, I'll always remember that sweet smile and sweet heart that she had. As we all get older, it's hard to loose our friends from our early childhood because those times were the best!

Dear Steve,
I wanted to let you know how deeply saddenned I was to hear of you and your families GREAT loss.
No words that I can possibly say at this time could possibly ease the pain you are feeling. Just know that when you pray to the Lord for strength, only his LOVE will bring you the comfort from your sorrow.
Cindy's had a HUGE heart, and a very loving ,kind and thoughtful spirit. The Lord obviously needed her caregiving, loving ways, serving beside him, and other angels in heaven.
God Bless You

Cindy, I know that you are with the angels above because God has allowed the gentle and meek to join his company with a loud burst of the trumpet. We will joyously meet again as we see each other's smile in the life you have entered.

I was a childhood friend of Cindy's as well, and I am grateful for the fun and joy she brought into my life all those years ago. I have not seen her in about 10 years, which was a chance meeting at Vagabond's in the Heights. She was as unaffected, delightful, witty, down-to-earth, unique, and friendly as ever. My heart goes out to all of you who remained close to her.

It's been years since I've seen Cindy, but I have some wonderful childhood memories of our times together. I will always remember her great smile, her laugh, and the fun we had at camp Riva Lake, PBCC or spending the night together. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you at this difficult time.

I am saddened to hear about Cindy's passing. Many of you don't know me, but I can remember Cindy from at least 4-year-old kindergarten in Pine Bluff. Great memories all the way through high school. It is way to soon for this - Cindy and her infectious smile will not be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with Cindy and all of you.

To Steve, The Freeman and Gibson Families- Cindy was a childhood friend that I always loved dearly. Over the years we would lose touch but then would get back together and things were just the same with us. Her passing is so terribly sad. My heart just breaks for you all. She was funny and warm and loving. The world, and my life, have been made better by her short presence. I know that she is resting in peace. I wish I lived closer and could be at the service. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Jeanie

Steve,

You have been in my prayers since I learned Saturday of Cindy's death. I know how much you loved her, and you were very tender and sensitive to her needs. Only God has the answers she was seeking, and she is with Him. Know that you remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Margaret
