Biography: Cynthia Freeman “Cindy” Gibson, age 56, of Little Rock, died Saturday, July, 5, 2008. She was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas the daughter of Armistead C. Freeman of Little Rock, her mother, the late Rita Barnett Freeman. Cindy was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School. She operated the Far East Trading Company for several years and she loved her dogs, gardening and traveling. Cindy is survived by her husband Steve Gibson of Little Rock, a step-son Jonathan Gibson of Fayetteville, Arkansas, her father Armistead C. Freeman and wife Gail, 2 brothers, A.C. Freeman, Jr. and wife Kim, Richard Freeman and wife Jennifer all of little Rock, and her father and mother-in-law, B.L. Gibson and Gladys Blount Gibson of Little Rock. There will be a funeral service held Saturday, July 12, 2008 at St. Mark’s Episcopal church at 1 P.M. officiated by The Reverend Danny Schieffler and The Reverend Cary Stone. I was so sorry to hear about Cindy. We did see each other a few times through the years but we spent many nights at each others house and hanging out on Cherry Street and The Pine Bluff Country Club. As it's been said lots of times in these letters, I'll always remember that sweet smile and sweet heart that she had. As we all get older, it's hard to loose our friends from our early childhood because those times were the best!
