Millie and I served together when she was Arkansas BPW State President and I was Oregon BPW State President. She was a wonderful, giving, and enthusiastic woman who gave over 110 percent in everything she did. Millie's warm heart and generous spirit will be missed by those she left behind.

Millie was a dear and sweet friend to all. Not only was she a special person, she had a way of making everyone feel special - whether acquaintance or long-time friend. Millie was not a stranger to anyone.

It was common for us to talk on the phone every day, sometimes more than once a day. It will be difficult to keep myself from reaching for the telephone to call Millie.

She had a positive and profound influence on my life and on the lives of countless others. She is one of those unique individuals who comes into and out of your life making you all the better person simply for having known her.

She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Millie was my first contact with BPW in 1988. She was so kind to me and made me feel very much at home at my first BPW meeting. She even treated me to the meal we had that evening. She is a sweetheart who will be missed, but her spirit will be forever with all of us in this life.

To the family of Ms. Millie,

Millie will be missed by so many people. She absolutely touched everyone she met. She was my favorite person at the Clerk's office and I thought that when she retired it would be hard, but losing her in death is even harder. I know that I will see her again someday, and that helps to make it easier. She had a kind heart and was a beautiful person. My prayers are with all of you during this hard time.

With love, John, Amanda, Taylor and Haylee Dickens

To say Millie was a wonderful person doesn't quite capture the essence of Millie. She was intelligent, fun to be around, fair minded and devoted to her beliefs. She was a champion for women and anyone who needed a "leg up". She was an excellent mentor and role model. She was loveed and will be greatly missed.

Every Sunday, as I entered the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church, Millie was usually there at the last pew and we always greeted each other with hugs and kisses. There was something special about Millie--don't know what it was, but I loved her from the moment I met her. It will not be the same on Sunday morning without her. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family as well as our church family.

My deepest sympathies go out to the family of Mille. I worked with her at John Hancock in Little Rock for many years and she was truly remarkable person. I kept in touch with her for a while after I moved to Northwest Arkansas and then gradually lost touch. She meant so much to so many people and she will be missed.
